K'ved Shirts Manila

K'ved is a small independent company based in Manila, Philippines which designs and hand prints T-shirts.

Our designs, inspired by traditional and modern Filipino culture, aim to educate the world about the Philippines in a more contemporary way. Think of it as a history lesson in a shirt.

  • K’ved Adventure 1: Tanay, Rizal Province

For our first Adventure we decided to explore the hills of Tanay in Rizal Province which is about an hour and a half away from the city by car. It was believed during the Spanish and American occupations that some of the rebel Filipino soldiers hid inside the hills near this area. Most of the areas in Tanay remain to be un-commercialized and is a great escape from the busy city. A place to be one with nature.

Also featured below are two of our “Culture Shirts”.

  • We soon noticed that all we were putting out so far were all silly fun so we decided to get just a little bit serious. So to cap off our Don’t be Afraid series/campaign and to serve as a preview of what our company really aims to be, we released this picture.

  • To support our college varsity basketball team, and since we needed some funds (hehe), we made and sold shirts to wear to the games.

  • For our first set of designs, we decided to have some fun and let go by making some “expressional” and “graphic” shirts. This was more like a test run since we were new to the craft of hand printing shirts at this point. We entitled our first batch as the Don’t be Afraid Shirts. I think the promotional pictures we did could explain why. Here are some of them.
